Scheduling an Appointment
If you or your doctor feel you may be a candidate for Uterine Fibroid Embolization, you will need to be evaluated by one of our
Interventional Radiologists. You or your doctors office may schedule a consultation with us by calling 281-880-6947. When you come for your appointment, please bring any films and reports from prior ultrasound or MRI examinations of your fibroids.
During this consultation you will be able to meet our doctor and staff. Your case will be thoroughly reviewed by our doctor who will determine if you are a candidate for UFE. The procedure will be explained in detail and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. If you are a good candidate for UFE and you choose to proceed with the procedure, insurance issues can be addressed at the end of the visit with our staff. Required paperwork and laboratory tests can be initiated at the conclusion of the appointment as well.
